This is not a full biography. It is the path that shaped how I work.

My work today sits at the intersection of brand, communication and digital systems. The path into that work was not linear. It was shaped by different countries, languages, roles and disciplines, each of which strengthened the skills I rely on most: clear communication, structured thinking, adaptability and a practical approach to technology.

Early Foundations

Netherlands (1994-2001)

I was born in Haarlem and grew up with a culture of directness, self-reliance and clarity. That early environment still influences how I work: I value honest communication, realistic expectations and straightforward problem-solving.

France and Multilingual Growth

France (2001-2009)

Moving to France as a child changed the way I understood communication. It meant adapting early to a new language, culture and social environment, and it gave me a strong foundation in structured writing and analytical thinking.

During my teenage summers in hospitality, I learned to stay calm under pressure, resolve issues quickly and communicate with people from different backgrounds. That hands-on experience shaped my approach to service, empathy and practical coordination.

Early Technical Curiosity

France (2009-2013)

Technology first became real to me through games, modding communities and self-taught experimentation. I built early computers, ran small servers and created simple websites and forums for friends. Those projects taught me problem-solving, self-hosting and the habit of learning by building.

University and Digital Communication

France (2013-2015)

My studies in multimedia, internet and communication gave structure to what I had already been exploring independently. The programme combined web development, networks, design, communication, content and digital production.

That mix gave me a broad understanding of how digital communication works end to end: from identity and messaging to platforms, content structures and implementation. It also reinforced a habit that still matters now: continuous self-education.

Prague and Professional Development

Prague, Czech Republic (2016-present)

An exchange year brought me to Prague, and I chose to stay. Living and working here placed me in international, multilingual environments where adaptability and clarity were essential.

One of my early roles in Prague involved art direction for an international event connected to Beijing. I worked with Chinese counterparts to manage asset delivery, respond to last-minute changes, support event coordination and lead a workshop on design theory across cultures. That experience confirmed my interest in communication, systems and cross-cultural work.

From there, I developed across brand identity, content, web development, UX and communication strategy. Each role helped me get better at turning complex ideas into clearer structures, messages and digital experiences.

What I Focus On Today

Prague, Czech Republic

Today I focus on brand and communication systems: the space where identity, UX, content, websites, workflows and digital tools need to work together. I am especially interested in roles where communication and technology meet, including design systems, internal knowledge structures, workflow improvement and AI-supported tools.

I do not see AI as a separate identity or a replacement for core skills. I see it as an amplifier of good structure, good communication and practical design. My work is strongest when strategy and implementation stay connected, whether that means shaping a brand system, building a website, improving content architecture or designing a custom-fit tool that helps people work with more clarity.
