This timeline is not a biography.
It’s the path that shaped my skills and approach to life.

The way I work today is shaped by the places I’ve lived, the people I’ve learned from, and the systems I’ve built along the way. Each chapter of my life introduced a new environment, culture or discipline, and helped form the skills I rely on every day: clear communication, structured thinking, adaptability and a deep curiosity for technology.

Early Years

Netherlands (1994–2001)

Born in Haarlem in the mid‑1990s, I grew up in a culture that values directness, self‑reliance and clear communication. These early foundations shaped the way I work today: I’m comfortable speaking openly about challenges, setting realistic expectations, and approaching problems with a practical, can‑do mindset. Dutch straightforwardness became the basis of my professional ethics: clarity, honesty and responsibility.

Childhood and Adolescence

France (2001–2009)

Moving to France at age seven rewired my understanding of communication and culture. I became a native‑level French speaker and learned early on to adapt to new social norms and environments. The French school system placed a strong emphasis on structured, rigorous writing, which I later carried into my work in UX, communication and strategy.

During my teenage summers I worked in the hospitality sector as a receptionist and campsite information host. With the help of supportive mentors, I developed soft skills that still define my approach today: staying calm in high‑pressure moments, de‑escalating tense situations, and prioritising empathy and customer experience.

Early Tech Curiosity: Games, Modding and First Servers

France (2009–2013)

Like many kids of my generation, video games were my first gateway into technology. They taught me far more than entertainment. Through modding communities, recycled hardware and small multiplayer groups, I built my first computers, hosted my first game servers and created simple websites and forums for friends.
These experiments taught me collaboration, problem‑solving and the foundations of self‑hosting long before I entered formal education.

University, Communication & Internet Technologies

France (2013–2015)

My university studies in France formalised everything I had been learning on my own. The curriculum was broad and practical: hardware installation, networking, web development, self‑hosting, design fundamentals, communication strategy, marketing basics and even commercial video production.

This comprehensive foundation gave me a deep understanding of the full digital communication pipeline. It also left me with a lifelong habit of continuous self‑education, something essential in fast‑moving fields like design, development and now AI.

Expatriation and Professional Growth

Prague, Czech Republic (2016–today)

An exchange year in Prague exposed me to a new culture and a new pace of life. I decided to stay, and Prague has been home ever since.

My first significant role was as an art director for an event agency organising an international conference in Beijing. It was one of my first cross‑cultural design projects, and I was invited to run a workshop on design principles a moment that confirmed I was on the right professional path.

Over the following years, I expanded my expertise across design, social media communication, content strategy and web development. Each role helped me refine how I translate complex ideas into clear visuals, messages and digital solutions.

Today Communication, UX and Applied AI

Prague, Czech Republic

Still based in Prague, I’m now focused on the intersection of communication, design, technology and AI. Instead of seeing AI as a threat, I view it as an opportunity: a way to build tools that enhance clarity, improve workflows and turn scattered information into accessible knowledge. A dream to combine tech and Design I have long hoped pursue.

My work brings together everything I’ve learned across cultures, disciplines and roles. I design systems visual, technical or organisational that help people communicate better, understand faster and work with more confidence.
